I have actually been in six over the years at various levels. One which actually threw me out of bed in New York 20 years ago, but the most frightening was one the morning of the opening of the first Gold Cup in 1991 when I was sure the hotel was going to collapse and find us in a heap of rubble in the parking lot near the L.A. Forum.
So you escaped the earthquake by a hair... Have you ever experienced one? Chile is THE place to be for that... :)
